Overview

Every spring, the largest lake on the Balkan Peninsula overflows, flooding the shores and meadows, whilst the mountains are bathed in the blue expanse of the sea. Choose the route that suits you best! Those who set off on a tour during the May bank holidays will see: boundless expanses, crystal-clear water beneath their oars; Budva like this —
nestled deep within the mountains and green valleys; as well as historical sights: Budva, Kotor, Cetinje.

Those who choose to travel a little later will be able to capture and, whilst communing with nature, take an endless number of photos.
What's the Plan?
Crystal-clear water reflecting the sky and endless horizons.
Blooming water lilies, red and green underwater plants, pelicans, herons, storks and swans — a real feast for the eyes and your camera.
A kayaking trip of around 4−5 hours on the water, with a stop for a cup of hot tea. Even if you’ve never been in a kayak before, we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
Walks around Kotor and along the coast.
Overnight stay in Budva in cosy double or triple rooms.
All excursions and guidance in Russian.

Programme

Our tour operator licence allows us to organise tours lasting 48 hours, including one overnight stay outside Serbia. Therefore, our programme begins and ends at Sutomore station in Montenegro. However, we organise a group booking for train tickets and travel together!

For more details, see the ‘How to get there’ section.
Programme

Day 1

A shuttle meets us at the station and takes us for breakfast at a lovely restaurant right on the lakeshore. After breakfast, we head to the starting point for our kayaking trip. A briefing and some paddling lessons, and we’re already out on the water. Midday, we’ll stop for a snack and a cup of hot tea, and at the finish we’ll have lunch at a small local restaurant serving fresh fish from the lake (a vegetarian menu is also available). Afterwards, we’ll head to our hotel in Budva. In the evening, you can take a stroll along the seafront, have a beer with friends, or simply relax after a busy day.
Transfer to Kotor. Guided tour of the Old Town (~1.5 hours). Free time.
Check-in at the hotel. Dinner at your leisure. Time to relax before the second day.
Departure from Belgrade. Meeting point: 10 Nušićeva Street, opposite the metro exit.
Arrival at Lake Skadar. Briefing and start of the kayaking tour. 4−5 hours on the water, with a stop for mountain tea.
Lunch at a seafood restaurant by the water’s edge. Freshly caught local fish, fish soup, and oysters.
Programme

All this will be accompanied by a Russian-speaking guide. For lunch today, we’ll be enjoying oysters, mussels and fresh sea fish right on the shore. After lunch, we’ll head to the railway station. On the way, we’ll stop to see Sveti Stefan, the famous island hotel for celebrities. If there’s time, we’ll pop into a secret viewing point with a stunning view. We’ll finish the tour at Sutomore station at around 7 pm.
Transfer to Cetinje, the historic capital. A tour of the town centre. Cetinje Monastery.
